I am so proud of these cheese straws! I had been looking at the recipe in Jo's book for ages already. They looked so good, but I kept thinking that they are probably too difficult for me to make... that maybe the pastry is difficult to make and roll and cut and twist etc. But I decided that it is time to give it a go. I was so shocked that I had these ready to go into the oven in about 15 minutes!!! Wow! Eeeeeeeeek! They are so easy to make and the pastry is a pleasure to handle. The cooked and cooled cheese straws were dipped in tomato chutney and sesame seeds.
