~Oat & Raisin Cookies / Canberra~
We spent last weekend in Canberra. There is a Toulouse-Lautrec exhibition at the National Gallery. It will end next month, so we had to go now or I would have missed it. Eek! I was a bit nervous about the drive as we were in the middle of a heatwave. Fortunately we left so early that we got to drive in the dark for a few hours. It takes about 8 hours to drive to Canberra!
It was really nice to stay at a hotel for a couple of nights. Sokeri had a weekend getaway in Mornington. I really enjoyed the exhibition, even though it was quite crowded... sigh... Made me feel a bit anxious.
Perjantaina (me ajettiin sinne lauantaina) täällä oli ihan sikamaisen kuuma.
On Friday (we drove to Canberra on Saturday) it was sooooo hot here. I wonder who was silly enough to have the oven on for hours??? Yes, not hard to guess. :) I decided I would bake some yummy things for us to eat in the car while driving. I am so happy that my anxiety has lessened a bit, so I can do things like this. I bake two kinds of muffins, honey-mustard sausage rolls, mini pizzas (using that flatbread recipe without chilli and halloumi.. I made 6 pizzas from that dough.) and the most amazing oat-raisin cookies. I made about 30 cookies and we ate them all during the weekend. LOL.
